There will be lots to see and do at big events in Harrogate and Knaresborough on the Coronation Bank Holiday weekend.
Valley Gardens in Harrogate is hosting The Big Coronation Celebration across all three days from 6-8 May. The free event will include a big screen showing the ceremony, fairground rides and the Little Bird Made Market in the colonnades. You can read more on Visit Harrogate’s website here.
The Harrogate Business Improvement District (BID) is also running a free event at the Majestic hotel on the Saturday and Sunday. This will feature a big screen showing the ceremony as well as a DJ and food and drink available from the hotel. You can read more on the BID’s website here.
Over in Knaresborough the town council will have a big screen in the grounds of Knaresborough House. There will be food and drink stalls available though visitors are welcome to take their own picnic too. The big screen will show two family films in addition to the Coronation ceremony.
