Train timetable changes see services reintroduced.

Train timetables will change on Sunday 11 December 2022 with some areas seeing more trains running where they have been reduced since the start of the year.

Several routes have been running reduced services since the beginning of the year, This has been due to driver training being suspended during the COVID lockdowns. These suspended services will be reintroduced.

The York-Harrogate-Leeds service will see two trains per hour with additional Harrogate to Leeds peak services which had previously been suspended.

Harrogate and Knaresborough MP, Andrew Jones, commented:” I know how difficult some people found the changes at the beginning of the year. Northern promised to get those services back up and running as soon as they could and it is a promise they have kept. I am grateful to them.”
