Northern Gas Networks will soon be carrying out planned work to upgrade a gas main on Cold Bath Road, Harrogate. This work is essential to keep the gas flowing to local homes and businesses.
The project, which has been planned in close collaboration with North Yorkshire County Council is scheduled to last ten weeks. To ensure that the work can be carried out safety and efficiently it will be necessary to install temporary traffic management.
Cold Bath Road traffic lights:
Multiple 2 and 3-way lights on Cold Bath Road from Monday 3 October for five weeks.
Signs will be displayed for motorists and a full signed diversion put in place and traffic lights will be manned between 7am to 7pm.
Residents and businesses close to the works will be informed of the disruption, and access will be maintained where possible.
Northern Gas Networks will also issue a press release to help communicate to those living around the area about the temporary traffic management.
