Harrogate and Knaresborough MP Andrew Jones has congratulated students in Harrogate, Knaresborough and Boroughbridge on the results they have achieved in their A levels. Nationally, pass rates are high and it looks as though North Yorkshire’s schools will once again be recording an impressive set of results.
Mr Jones commented: “I would like to congratulate all those who received their A level results today.
“There are many hundreds of students across this constituency who are collecting their results and celebrating the outcome of their hard work.
“It makes me proud to see so many students perform so well across this constituency and North Yorkshire.
“I also commend the teachers and staff in schools and colleges for their dedication to their students to help prepare them for these exams. I am sure the results mean just as much to the teachers as they do to the students.
“To those who have not achieved the grades for which they hoped I would say this is not the end of the road and there are still many options for you to take. Talk to parents and staff for advice and look across the whole spectrum of opportunities available to you.
“Once again well done to everyone and I wish the best of luck to students in whatever they decide to do.”
