Harrogate and Knaresborough MP Andrew Jones has called on government ministers to give support with fuel bills to residents in park home sites.
Many park homes do not have mains gas and electricity is metered through the site owner. This means that residents will not automatically receive the government’s £400 support payment as this is paid through domestic energy suppliers.
The government is considering the call following a consultation into how the relief scheme is to be delivered. Andrew raised the matter at Business of the House questions earlier today.
