Bilton councillors Matt Scott and Paul Haslam spent Sunday morning clearing litter from Woodfield Park and the playground.
The hot weather had brought lots of people to the park and sadly this caused some litter to be left in the playground and near the football goal.
Commenting on this Cllr Scott said:
‘It is great that so many people come to use the park at all times of year. However it is disappointing that, despite there being four waste bins and a dog bin in the park, some people do not put their litter in them or take it home. Paul and I value the many green spaces in Bilton and we were happy to get stuck in and get the park back to looking its best again.’
