North Yorkshire County Council has written to local residents on Bogs Lane to set out its plans to resurface the stretch between the far edge of Henshaws College and the junction with the A59.
The work is set to begin on 7 March with phased road closures in place from 9:30 to 15:30. The section adjacent to Henshaws will be completed between 19:00 and 0:00. The work is scheduled for completion on 18 March.
The county council will shortly put out signage advising of the works. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Vehicle access will be maintained as much as possible however, owing to the nature of the work, there will be periods where this will not be possible.
