Footpath in Staveley to be repaired.

Following complaints by local residents Andrew Jones MP contacted North Yorkshire County Council and requested the footpath on the east entrance to Staveley to be resurfaced.  After several months of correspondence with the council they have announced that funding has now been allocated for the resurfacing.

There is no date set but Mr Jones has been told the works should commence within the next 90 days.

Mr Jones said: “It may seem like a small issue to many people but for those who live in Staveley and use this footpath regularly it will be welcomed news.”

If you see any potholes or damaged pavements you can report these to the council at www.northyorks.gov.uk/potholes-and-road-condition-issues or please feel free to email them to Andrew Jones at andrew.jones.mp@parliament.uk
