Following a recent query from a resident on Tennyson Avenue, Cllr Matt Scott has secured a new give way sign from North Yorkshire County Council for the junction of Fieldway and Tennyson Avenue.
Commenting on this Cllr Scott said: “I am always happy to take up issues of road safety and I am pleased to see a positive result here. As someone who used to live on Coleridge Drive I know how busy Tennyson Avenue is. This sign is a welcome addition and should ensure drivers unfamiliar with the area take extra care when turning on to Tennyson Avenue from Fieldway.”
