Yorkshire Water will soon be starting work to install new fittings on their clean water pipe on Bogs Lane and Kingsley Road, Harrogate. This is so they can better manage their water supply to the area. The work is on the old pipe network and not the new pipes that have been laid in recent years.
Morrison Water Services will be doing the work and they are due to start on Monday 13 September 2021. The work is expected to take about two weeks to complete and working hours will be 8am until 5pm weekdays.
Most of the work will be in private land off Kingsley Road but some fittings will be needed in Bogs Lane near to its junction with Kingsley Road.
Notification of road closure
On Monday 13 September 2021 for up to 5 days Yorkshire Water will close Bogs Lane at its junction with Kingsley Road whilst they install the new fittings. They have said that Morrison Water Services will work as quickly as possible to try and remove the road closure.
Access will be available up to our working area on either side for residents and deliveries.
A signed diversion route will be in place via Kingsley Drive, Knaresborough Road, through Starbeck and Bogs Lane.
