Knaresborough Pool re-opened yesterday and Starbeck Baths is set to re-open next Monday when social distancing measures come to an end.
Knaresborough Pool has been closed while extensive repair work has been made on the pool and has re-opened with a booking system. Starbeck Baths was closed due to the difficulty with social distancing at the smaller venue.
A further complication is that the council has had difficulty recruiting staff particularly for lifeguarding meaning that the re-opening of facilities will be on reduced capacity initially.
