Following a number of complaints about the state of the roads and pavements in Killinghall as a result of work underway at the various housing developments in the village, Cllr Michael Harrison has taken up the matter with both North Yorkshire County Council (NYCC) and Harrogate Borough Council (HBC).
HBC enforcement are taking up the issue with the housing developers, and will be sweeping both the roads and pavements, including the side roads leading to the new developments. If the problem continues they will seek to recover the cost from the developers. In addition, NYCC have advised the road gullies in the village are due to be cleaned in May.
