Knaresborough looks set to get a new school following news that North Yorkshire County Council (NYCC) is to launch a procurement exercise to build one as part of the Manse Farm development. The decision to build the new primary school was taken by Corporate Director of Children’s Services at NYCC in consultation with the Executive Member for Education and Skills, Councillor Patrick Mulligan.
The new school will be two-storey with the capacity for 210 pupils with a 26-place nursery. It is due to be opened in September 2022.
